Mini CVS Haul - Physicians Formula, Milani, Maybelline

Mini Drugstore Haul: Milani, Maybelline, Physician's Formula

I picked up a few items at the drugstore today. I initially went to swatch and try out the new Maybelline Matte and Poreless Fit Me Foundation, but upon swatching it, the foundation seemed to accentuate any fine lines that I had on my hands. Obviously, that's not a good sign so I headed over to the Physician's Formula section and looked over the new argan oil products. Some of them seem really enticing - including the Argan Oil Renew BB cream which I picked up.

I really enjoy the Organic Wear CC Cream, so I am hoping this will be just as great. I quickly swatched it on my hand and noticed a healthy glow that it gave my skin. There is a scent that is a little strange to me and I can't quite place what it is. I also noticed that the light shade is still a shade too dark for my skin color. I am going to try it on my face tomorrow and see how it works.

Next up are the Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder eyeshadows. I grabbed the colors Bella Rouge and Bella Copper. Swatching these made me fall in love immediately. These are amazing eyeshadows. I can't wait to wear them tomorrow.

The last item I grabbed was Maybelline's newest mascara: Lash Sensational. I picked up the color in Blackest Black. I heard so many good things about this, so I'll be putting it to the test! Nothing beats out my Younique 3D Fiberlash Mascara...so we shall see! I'll let you know what I think of this soon.

UPDATE: The Physician's Formula Argan Oil BB Cream made my face an oily mess at the end of the day. You can see me wearing it in this video I did for my YouTube Channel. I ended up returning the product. I did like that it gave my face a nice glow, but it made my face too oily. This may be a great product for someone with dry skin.

  1. Hey I was wondering if you tried the BB Cream and what you thought? I'm trying to decide if I should give it a go I have crazy dry skin and I have been very frustrated lately because every foundation/bb cream I use has been sticking to my dry patches and looking awful.

    1. Hey dear! On the bottom of the post is an update about my experience and thoughts on the BB cream. Since you have dry skin and dry patches, I think this cream will work really well for you. It will also give you a very nice glow that dry skin can sometimes lack. I would make sure to look for sales or coupons for this product, because I think it is priced around $16.

    3. Oh! No worries. I've done that many times myself :) If you do end up trying it, I'd love to hear how it worked for you.
