Monochromatic Sky & Vivid Forest Painting | Meaning

One of the things I do, that relaxes me and centers me, is to paint. I let whatever feeling guide me to the canvas and from there, unravels this comprised subconscious creation of those feelings. The other day I painted this seemingly surprised forest that flowed along with a river that sort of appears out of nowhere. The back is painted as a monochromatic gray sky with clouds, even though the forest and water stand out so vividly. It is to remind myself that no matter what is transpiring outside of me in the world...that I will always find what I need inside of me...carrying me through all the ebbs and flows of life....reminding me that I add color to monochromatic phases of my life, even if I feel so alien or unseen, and that change is always going to require new color for new canvas. πŸ’—πŸŒΊπŸ’–⭐️

You add color, too. All of us.
