Spirit De La Lune Oracle Deck Review & Pictures

Spirit De La Lune Oracle Deck Review and Pictures -
Marissa and Rachael are two gorgeous mystical women who joined visions and hearts together to bring to the world the Spirit De La Lune Oracle Deck ($45). These cards are stunning and magical ~ all centered around the cycles and energies of the moon. If you are looking for a new oracle deck which correlates with the influences/cycles of the moon and is a little more complex than the traditional ones... look no further!
Spirit De La Lune Oracle Deck -
Oracle cards can be great additions to any spiritual practice that you partake in. I enjoy using them on my clients when they see me for my intuitive reading services. You can use them as daily affirmations or check-in's on any particular area in life that you need intuitive assistance on. This is a great practice to get in touch with the deeper aspects of yourself and connect you deeper into the infinite web of universal communication and consciousness.
Spirit De La Lune Oracle Deck
I am so happy that I was able to purchase this deck and support Marissa. I met Marissa when I shared my Saturn Return experience with her on her blog. You can read my article here and visit her blog here. Marissa is such a kind and sweet person. She is very intuitive and inspiring! Here is her Instagram account where she posts beautiful images.
If you would like for me to do videos or post more information about intuition, readings, and other matters of spirit - I would be happy to. Just leave any questions or requests in the comments.

How To Do Natural Looking Makeup For Guys & Defining Tips and Tricks

How To Do Natural Looking Makeup For Guys & Defining Tips and Tricks -

To achieve a natural looking face for men here's some tips on how to do it:
1) Make sure you use sunscreen. This should be applied after moisturizer and before makeup. I recommend using Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 or EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Specrtrum SPF 40.

2. You can double up on sunscreen AND foundation by using a tinted moisturizer. This will save you time and will give you a very natural looking coverage. I love using Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20 or try this one from Elta MD UV Daily Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 40. If you are going to be outside a lot, I recommend using at least an SPF of 30. However, for running errands or minor sun exposure, a tinted moisturizer with lower spf will work just great. Make sure to apply using downward strokes as to not get caught in any stubble if shaved. If you have a beard, see tip 6.
3. Conceal any discoloration. If you have redness on your skin, try using a primer after your sunscreen. A great one that helps with redness or dark spots is Pur Cosmetics Correcting Primer Dark Spot Corrector. I also recommend using a concealer for under your eyes. For purple undertones it is best to use a yellow correcting concealer like the Elf Cosmetics Correcting Concealer in Yellow. For more blue undertones, it is best to use a more salmon or pink toned concealer. My favorite one that I use is Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer. Use the warmth of your finger to lightly dab and blend the concealer under your eye and over the areas that are discolored.

4. If you want more full coverage, use a matte or semi-matte foundation. I recommend using Clinique's Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer or EX1 Foundation. Both give skin-like appearances with full coverage. Again, remember to use downward strokes so the product does not get caught in stubble on a shaved face.
5. Use a damp sponge to blend the products into your skin if you have a little extra time. Especially with full coverage foundation. The damp sponge will blend in the foundation flawlessly as it will soak up any excess product and give that natural appearance to the skin. I love using Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge or the Beauty Blender.
6. If you have a beard, the best foundations to use would be loose mineral powered foundations. They can get a bit messy, but they look very natural and provide quick application. You would apply this over your moisturizer, sunscreen, or primer. You would apply this with a brush in circular movements all over your face and you can also get some around your beard lines and work it in. A few great options would be BareMinerals Foundation, Physician's Formula Organic Wear Natural Loose Powder, or Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation. A great brush to use for spreading mineral foundation would be something like the BareMinerals Full Flawless Face Brush
1. You can define your beard with products like the Brow & Beard Correctors. This is a thin pencil that can be used to draw realistic looking hair strokes in any sparse areas... or help provide nice definition to your brows and beards. You can also use a tinted pomade to groom your beards while adding a tint of color for definition. Imperial Blacktop Pomade is a great one to consider. It works on all hair textures and brown, black, or grey beards. There are various waxes that are tinted as well... and even beard dyes that can help you with a defined jaw line look.
2. Use an eyeshadow closest to your eyelash color to help define your eyes. I would suggest using an eyeshadow or powder formulation. Use a small angled brush and an eyeshadow and lightly line the upper lash line, making sure to get close to the root of your lashes. If you do want to line the bottom lash line, use very little shadow and smudge it out with a brush to make it look as natural as possible.

I hope this helps you and inspires you to try some natural looking makeup! Please share this post with any interested friends, family members, or makeup artists who would benefit from these tips!
So this is my friend Jerred and we've known each other for many years now. He is one of my most favorite people in the world and I'm so glad he let me borrow his face for this tutorial and blog post.

Diamonds are made through intense process. So is a human being.

Undergoing transformation and rebirth. -
The Universe is working meticulously on helping us to release, clear away, and let go of the experiences that have run their courses in our lives. It's a brutal ache in the heart to say goodbye to some of this. Though it's important to do, it's extremely hard to sit inside the emotion of the release and let it do what it needs to do. For any of you who are experiencing this right now with the influence of the recent New Moon in Pisces, know I am holding you in my heart, even if we haven't met or I don't know your name. Together we are all connected in spirit. You are my brothers and my sisters. We are children of the stars. I feel you wherever we are on this planet. Trust and know in your heart that you will evolve as you need to and all things will align with relief as soon as you commit to yourself your truth and adhere to the pull of your intuitive heart. Let it guide you through the ebbs and flow of this roller coaster ride. KNOW that the best outcome will happen and you shall find your liberation on the other side. Diamonds are made through intense process. So is a human being on the ride of this life. Be. Your. Truth. Always....

You've got this.

Our Crazy Beautiful and FUN vacation in California!

Pacific Ocean - Los Angeles, Venice Beach, CA -
Some of you may know this, but last week we vacationed in California! It was SO NICE TO GET OUT OF THE FROZEN TUNDRA which is Minnesota and get a break from the cold and soak up some well-needed Vitamin D, baby.
Bill & Quyen
The first part of the trip we spent some time visiting with our friends Quyen and Bill in their lovely paradise home near Palm Springs. I was so excited to introduce Aven to the desert and have him experience the different terrain, mountains, and plants. He loved it! His favorite thing was to play in the pool and just be outside. In fact, that was all of our favorite things to do!
We then headed over to Los Angeles to go to the beach, see some friends, and check out Disney Land (SO FREAKING FUN)
Here's the vlog to watch our story unfold and take you along with us.
Much love.
